Trial
Trials will preferably take place 2-4 months before the wedding day. Please allow 2 hours for a make-up trial, longer if more than one person is having a trial, or if you are having a hair trial too. Please have some pictures ready of the sort of looks you like. Emma will give patch tests for eyelash glue if false lashes are required. Trials will be taken place at the Emma’s garden studio, the client’s home or suitable venue. If you are a large bridal party, Emma may bring along an assistant or an extra professional make-up artist to share the job on the wedding day.
Before the wedding day
All timings will be confirmed no later than 7 days before the wedding date and the plan sent over to the client via email. This is to make sure Emma can work with efficiency on the day. Bride to inform all party involved on their time slot, this is essential to ensure everyone is ready on time and so the morning runs smoothly.
Wedding day
On the wedding day Emma will arrive at your venue in plenty of time to set up, looking presentable and with a clean kit. Emma will allow 1 hour of make-up time for the bride and 45 minutes per bridesmaid. Times will differ for hair styling. The aim will be to have everyone ready 45 minutes before leaving. Emma can stay to help with last minute touch ups and styling.
Only services agreed previously will be carried out on the day. Any add ons need to be confirmed at least 7 days prior to the wedding day. Any changes to agreed make-up and hair from the trial need to be confirmed as soon as possible and may result in a second trial.
Please be aware that leaving Emma’s chair whilst having your make-up or hair styled could result in running behind schedule.
Payment Terms
A £50 non-refundable booking fee, paid via bank transfer, will be needed to secure your wedding date. This will be redeemed towards your payment.
Cash/BACS on trial date for trial payment.
After your trial, Emma will email across an invoice for a second non-refundable booking fee of 50% of your final payment. This should be paid within 7 days of your trial by BACS. You agree to all terms and conditions by paying your non-refundable booking fee of 50%.
The remaining payment is to be paid any time before 30 days prior to your wedding date by BACS.

Cancellation
Cancellation of the booking by Emma will result in a refund of 100% of the costs already paid to her by the client. It is highly unlikely that Emma wouldn’t be able to attend, only due to injury/severe illness/death/natural disaster/government lockdown/unforeseen emergency/COVID-19 quarantine. Emma would then do her best to try and find you an alternative artist. The new artist would receive all trial information and details to do the job.
Cancellation of the booking by the client, which is of their own accord, and not of a government lockdown/force majeure- The non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total payment will not be refunded. Should you need to cancel any appointment, please get in touch with Emma as soon as possible.
If you have paid in full and cancel within 3 months of the wedding day you will be refunded the other 50% of the balance already paid.
If you have paid in full and cancel within 2 months of the wedding day you will be refunded 25% of the 50% of the balance already paid.
